ABOUT THE PIECE
"On September 11th, 2001, I was living three blocks from
the World Trade Center. When the first tower fell I had been
walking down John Street towards the towers still unaware
what had taken place.

Stuck inside a building downtown while the smoke from the towers surrounded us, I remember being so frightened for the U.S. and NYC, but for some reason a tiny voice kept voicing itself in my thoughts, wondering who in the world, or American, even maybe in New York was in any way pleased by the attacks."

- Matthew Paul Olmos, playwright
